Bangle My Love is dedicated to my Grandmother, who lived a remarkable life full of love, loss, adventure, and style. She finally found her Prince Charming on her fourth marriage, but who’s counting? She would’ve embraced the Bangle My Love bracelets, wearing different statuses on each wrist, switching them up depending on her mood. Oh, the stories she could tell about love! 

During one of our weekly lunches, my Grandmother’s flair for life extended beyond her own experiences and shaped mine in an extraordinary way. I noticed a cute guy across the room and pointed him out to her. She encouraged me to go and introduce myself, saying, ‘Go on. What’s the worst that could happen?’ I was hesitant, of course. But she gave me that look— full of confidence and a little mischief— that made it impossible to say no. She reminded me that life is too short to sit around waiting for things to happen. ‘Trust me,’ she said with a wink. So, I did it. I walked over and introduced myself, and to my surprise, we hit it off instantly. One conversation led to another and before I knew it, we were planning our life together. Fast forward, we’ve been married for 10 years and have two beautiful kids together.

When I think back to that moment, I realize how pivotal her encouragement was. She knew exactly what I needed to hear to take a chance on Love.
 

Even though she’s not here to support me as I launch my own business, I can almost hear her saying one more time, “Go on. What’s the worst that could happen? Trust me.”
